Bangladesh will become one of the first markets to screen Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with Star Cineplex confirming the Marvel film's release on July 30, a day before its worldwide theatrical debut.

The cinema chain announced the release date on Monday, making Bangladesh one of the first markets to screen the latest instalment in the Spider-Man franchise.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fourth Spider-Man feature starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film sees Holland reprise his role as the web-slinging superhero alongside returning cast members Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Mark Ruffalo also returns as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk.

The sequel introduces several new additions to the franchise. Iman Esfandi joins the cast as MJ's new love interest, while Stranger Things star Sadie Sink takes on a mystery role that has already sparked speculation among fans.

Set four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film follows Peter Parker as he attempts to rebuild his life after the world forgets his identity. As he begins a new chapter, he is confronted by fresh challenges and formidable new enemies.
