Bangladeshi a cappella and beatbox group Beatmosphere has won the inaugural Voice of Bangladesh national final and will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 in Bangkok, Aussievision reported.

Beatmosphere emerged victorious on Wednesday night with their song “Tumi Ele”, securing the top spot through a combination of professional jury, public and international voting.

The professional jury accounted for 40% of the final result, while another 40% came from voters in Bangladesh and the remaining 20% from the Rest of the World vote.

The group, formed in 2009, uses vocals, beatboxing and body percussion to recreate drums, basslines, melodies and other sounds without conventional musical instruments or electronic equipment.

Although Beatmosphere normally performs as a nine-member ensemble, six members took part in the national final: Ishtiyak Zobayer, Sayed Ahnaf Tahmid, Sidratul Mursalin Bhasha, Mahi Bin Ashraful, Moktadir Dewan and Mahi Hossain Khan.

Following the close of voting, the top three were announced as Beatmosphere with “Tumi Ele”, Pulak Adhikary with “Anari Majhi”, and Vintage Theory with “BOOMERANG!” The remaining seven finalists were not publicly ranked.

The other finalists were Nusrat Jahan (Kriti), Sharot, Benazir Zilani, The Kushiyara Waves, Lubaina Afnan, SUBCONSCIOUS and Krishan Barman.

The victory also makes Beatmosphere the first-ever act selected to represent Bangladesh at the Eurovision Song Contest Asia.

Bangladesh is among 11 countries participating in the inaugural competition, alongside Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

Beatmosphere will perform “Tumi Ele” at the first Eurovision Song Contest Asia in Bangkok on November 14, 2026.

Celebrating the victory on their official Facebook page, the group said: “We won the Bangladesh National Finals and will represent our country at Eurovision Song Contest Asia on 14 November in Bangkok, Thailand!”

The group thanked its supporters, families, friends and the ESC/ESCA community, adding that it was “beyond grateful” and excited to carry the Bangladesh flag to Bangkok.
