6,165 candidates pass 50th BCS written test

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday published the results of the written examination for the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), with 6,165 candidates qualifying for the next stage of the recruitment process.

The results were released in the afternoon and are available on the PSC's official website.

According to a PSC notice, the written examination was held from 9 April to 7 May in Dhaka and the country's seven other divisional cities.

Earlier, the 50th BCS preliminary examination was held on 30 January, with the results announced on 10 February, when 12,385 candidates qualified for the written test.

The successful candidates in the written examination will now be eligible to appear for the viva voce, the final stage of the BCS recruitment process.
