Fire breaks out at footwear showroom at Dhaka’s Dhanmondi

A fire broke out at footwear showroom in Dhanmondi area of the capital on Thursday morning.

The Fire Service received information about the fire at an Apex showroom at around 10:05 am and reached the spot at 10:15 am, said Talha Bin Zashim, station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (media cell).

Four units from the Mohammadpur Fire Station are currently working to bring the blaze under control, while two more units are on their way to the scene, he added.
