Legal process is there in place, says Dinesh Trivedi on Hasina extradition

Giving a brief background under what circumstances, India received former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi on Saturday said legal process is there in place.

"And the legal system is on," he said while responding to a question on extradition of Hasina.

He spoke at a panel discussion on "Power and Prudence: Managing Great Power Competition without Conflict" at a city hotel.

The High Commissioner said there are issues and there is a solution to each and every issue.

"Issues need to be addressed through dialogue and conferences. There has to be a solution, and there will be a solution," said Dinesh Trevidi.
