A man was killed in a fire at Aman Plastic Factory in Narikelbagh, Keraniganj, Dhaka, on Monday, according to the Fire Service.

The Fire Service received information about the fire at 12:25pm and arrived at the scene at 12:32pm.

A total of eight firefighting units were deployed to tackle the blaze. Seven units were working at the scene, while one was on its way.

The fire was brought under control at 2pm, the Fire Service said.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
