Police on Tuesday said they had arrested 33 members of the banned Awami League in connection with the ongoing garment workers’ protests demanding a minimum monthly wage of 30,000 taka.

Garment workers have been protesting for several days, calling for a substantial increase in the minimum wage amid rising living costs.

The government formed a six-member wage board on Sunday to review the existing wage structure and recommend a new minimum wage.

Police found the Yaba. Then both the drugs and the case disappeared
