Three people have been detained over allegations of throwing cocktails following an explosion at Dhaka University’s Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on Sunday evening.

The incident took place in the TSC and surrounding university area, after which members of the public caught the three men and handed them over to police.

Shahbagh Police Station Officer-in-Charge confirmed to Daily Waadaa that three people had been detained over allegations of throwing cocktails.

Their political identities have not yet been established.
