Bangladesh name ODI squad for Zim series

Staff Correspondent

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15-man squad for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, set to take place in Harare from July 9.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who missed out the third ODI in the recent home series against Australia, will lead the side against Zimbabwe.

Litton Das also returns, after having missed the entire three-match T20I series against Australia earlier this month owing to injury.

Mosaddek Hossain, who made a statement in his comeback to the ODI side in the Australia series, which the Tigers won 2-1, retains his place.

Off-spinner Mahedi Hasan is the only omission from the previous series.

The Bangladesh contingent has already flown into Zimbabwe for the series, which will commence with a one-off Test, beginning on June 28.

The three ODIs will take place in Harare on July 6, 9 and 11, which will be followed by three T20Is on July 15, 17 and 19.
