Staff Correspondent

Yasir Ali returned to the T20I squad as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, starting on July 15.

Yasir last played a T20I for Bangladesh in October, 2023 against Pakistan in the Asian Games.

Regular T20I captain Litton Das, who is nursing a calf injury, has been left out of the series. In his place, Tawhid Hridoy will lead Zimbabwe.

Before the T20I series, the Tigers will play three ODIs against the same opponents, which will begin on July 6.

Bangladesh have already lost the one-off Test by an innings and 85 runs.
