Mustafizur ruled out of The Hundred with hamstring injury

Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman will miss the entire 2026 season of The Hundred in England after suffering a hamstring injury.

Mustafizur was signed by Birmingham Phoenix for this year's tournament, which began on July 21. However, the franchise confirmed in a Facebook post today that the left-arm pacer has been ruled out for the season because of the injury.

Mustafizur was picked by Birmingham Phoenix for his base price of 100,000 pounds at the player auction held in March.

He sustained the hamstring injury during the first ODI against Zimbabwe earlier this month after bowling six overs. The injury also forced him to miss the remaining two matches of the three-match ODI series.

Birmingham Phoenix are yet to announce a replacement for the Bangladesh fast bowler.
