Professor Yunus congratulates Bangladesh on historic Test win in Australia

Former Chief Adviser and Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus has extended his congratulations to the Bangladesh cricket team following their historic Test victory over Australia in Darwin on Sunday.

In a message, Yunus said the team delivered an outstanding and flawless performance in their nine-wicket win in Darwin, calling it an inspiration for the country.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the players, coaching staff and everyone associated with the Bangladesh cricket team on this historic victory,” he said in a congratulatory message.

“This outstanding achievement will inspire the younger generation of the country to take greater interest in sports and further enhance Bangladesh's image on the international stage," he added.

Yunus described the win as a reflection of the character and ability of Bangladesh's cricketers and expressed hope for more such moments in the future.

"I hope the Bangladesh cricket team will continue to deliver outstanding performances on the world stage and bring many more moments of pride and glory to the country in the future," he said.
