Shoriful comes in for Ebadot as Bangladesh sent to bat first

Bangladesh lost the toss and have been sent to bat first by Australia in the second and final Test at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay on Saturday.

The tourists come into the match with a 1-0 lead, thanks to an incredible nine-wicket win in the Darwin Test.

Bangladesh have made one change in the winning combination, with left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam replacing Ebadot Hossain.

The hosts had already announced their XI the day before, with Matt Renshaw replacing opener Jake Weatherald.

Australia had chosen to bat first in the first Test, a decision they ended up regretting as Bangladesh rolled them over for 198 on the opening day and controlled the match from then on till winning it on the fourth day.

This time, Australia captain Pat Cummins chose to bowl first on a pitch that is expected to provide more pace and bounce.

This is the first-ever Test in Mackay.
