Shorna Akter's 31 off 18 balls pushed Bangladesh past 100, but Ariani struck twice in the final over as five wickets fell for just 21 runs. Ariani took 3 for 28 and Dewi 2 for 21 for Indonesia.

In reply, Nahida's left-arm spin cut through Indonesia's batting, finishing with 3 for 15, while Marufa claimed 2 for 6. Indonesia, playing their maiden Asia Cup match, were bowled out for 58 despite Bangladesh spilling three catches in the field.

The comfortable win gave Bangladesh a strong start to their Asia Cup campaign, with their spin attack setting the tone after early breakthroughs from the pace bowlers.
