The government has decided to keep retail prices of diesel, kerosene, octane and petrol unchanged for July, the Energy and Mineral Resources Division said on Monday.
The decision was announced in a government notification issued by the division on June 30.
Under the latest order, diesel will continue to sell at Tk115 per litre, octane at Tk145 per litre, petrol at Tk140 per litre and kerosene at Tk135 per litre at the consumer level.
The prices were previously set through a notification issued on May 31, 2026. With the approval of the competent authority, the government has decided to maintain the same rates for the month of July.
According to the notification, the unchanged prices will remain in effect from July 1 to July 31, 2026.
Bangladesh has been reviewing domestic fuel prices on a monthly basis under its automatic fuel pricing mechanism, which aligns local prices more closely with movements in the international oil market.
The latest decision means consumers will see no change in retail fuel prices during July.
