Pakistani band Kaavish will finally perform in Dhaka on September 26 alongside Bangladeshi bands Shironamhin and Meghdol, after the concert was postponed for security reasons nearly 10 months ago.

Organiser Prime Wave Communication announced the new date on its official Facebook page on September 12. The event, previously titled ‘Wave Fest: Feel This Winter’, has now been renamed ‘Wave Fest: Enjoy the Full Moon’.

The organisers have not yet disclosed the venue due to security concerns.

Those who purchased advance tickets for last year’s concert will be able to use the same tickets for the rescheduled event. New tickets are also available through the online platform Ticketify. General tickets are priced at 2,999 taka, while VIP tickets cost 5,499 taka.

The concert was originally scheduled for December 5 last year. However, it was postponed at the last moment after the organisers failed to obtain the necessary permission amid the country’s overall situation at the time.

Kaavish fans have been waiting for the concert since then, with the new date set to bring an end to the long wait.

Jaffer Zaidi and Maaz Maudood formed Kaavish in 1998. The band first performed in Bangladesh in January 2025 and quickly gained popularity among local listeners.

The band’s popular songs include Bachpan, Tere Pyar Mein, More Saiyaan, Neendia Re and Faasle.
