Bollywood villain Mukesh Rishi to make Dhallywood debut with Nasib

Waadaa Desk

Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi, known for playing antagonists opposite leading stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, is set to make his debut in Bangladeshi cinema with Mohammad Iqbal’s upcoming film Nasib.

Rishi will play the film’s main antagonist and is expected to arrive in Bangladesh later this month to take part in the shooting. Director Mohammad Iqbal confirmed the casting to the media, saying the actor would also appear in several key action sequences.

Although best known for his villainous roles in Hindi cinema, Rishi has worked across several Indian film industries, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. He has remained active in the industry since the 1990s.

He rose to wider popularity for playing Bulla in the film Gunda. His intimidating screen presence and distinctive dialogue delivery made the character particularly memorable among audiences.

Rishi subsequently became a familiar face in Bollywood through his performances as an antagonist in several popular productions.

His Dhallywood debut in Nasib will bring the veteran actor to Bangladeshi screens for the first time, with audiences awaiting his appearance in the upcoming film.
