Chelsea forwards Joao Pedro and Estevao have been recalled to Brazil's squad for a series of friendlies against Australia and India, as head coach Carlo Ancelotti continues rebuilding the national side following a disappointing World Cup campaign.
Joao Pedro had been among those left out of Brazil's World Cup squad to make room for Neymar, with the five time champions eventually eliminated by Norway in the last 16.
Estevao, meanwhile, missed the tournament entirely after picking up an injury in the buildup.
This marks Ancelotti's first squad announcement since that World Cup exit, and it features several fresh faces alongside the returning duo, including goalkeepers Pedro Morisco and Otavio, defender Mauro Junior, and midfielders Breno Bidon and Gabriel Bontempo.
A number of established figures also return, among them forwards Vinicius Junior and Raphinha, midfielder Bruno Guimaraes and central defenders Gabriel Magalhaes and Marquinhos, providing experience alongside the new additions.
Notably absent are Neymar, who recently announced his retirement from international football at the age of 34, as well as midfielder Casemiro and goalkeeper Alisson, all left out as part of the broader overhaul of the squad.
Brazil will face Australia twice, in Townsville on September 25 and Brisbane on September 29, before travelling to Kolkata to take on India on October 3, a fixture that will mark Brazil's first ever senior men's international appearance on Indian soil.
Ancelotti has spoken previously about wanting to build the spine of his squad around players who will also be eligible for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, positioning several of these selections as part of a longer term project aimed at the 2030 World Cup.
