Padma Nadir Majhi to be staged at Shilpakala Academy Oct 1-2

A stage adaptation of Manik Bandopadhyay’s timeless novel Padma Nadir Majhi will be staged at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on October 1 and 2.

The play will be staged at 7 pm on Thursday and Friday at the academy’s Experimental Theatre Hall.

Produced by the Department of Theatre and Media Studies, the play has been designed and directed by Syed Muhammad Zubayer.

Meanwhile, the play Putul Bari, organised by BotTola, will be staged at 7 pm today at the academy’s Experimental Theatre Hall.

The Selim Al Deen Theatre Festival, organised by Jagannath University, will also be held at 7 pm at its Studio Theatre Hall.
