Ministry honour board lists former state minister Mohammad A Arafat as ‘fugitive’

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has listed former State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad A Arafat as “fugitive” on its honour board.

The honour board, which lists former ministers and state ministers, shows November 11, 2024, as the starting date of Arafat’s tenure. Instead of an end date, the board displays the word “fugitive.”

Imadur Rahman, managing director and chief executive officer of Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL), shared a photograph of the honour board on Facebook on Monday.

“Thanks to the State Minister for Information Yaser Khan. A fugitive should be called a fugitive,” Imadur wrote in his post.
