After Alternatives and Daira, Mahfuj Alam launches political weekly

Former information and broadcasting adviser Mahfuj Alam on Friday announced the launch of a new weekly publication, Polity Weekly.

Mahfuj announced the launch in a Facebook post.

“We are going to publish this National Weekly. This will cover post-July ideas and politics. Stay tuned for more updates,” he wrote.

No further information about the weekly is available at the moment.

In March this year, Mahfuj launched Alternatives, a new political platform.

He also launched the Dacca Institute of Research and Analytics (Daira), a Dhaka-based research institute dedicated to producing rigorous, independent scholarship on governance, political economy, global statecraft, and historical and cultural inquiry.
