Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has unveiled a special commemorative postage stamp to mark the significance and importance of the historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day, which falls in November.
The commemorative stamp, issued by Bangladesh Post, was unveiled Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s office at the Secretariat.
To mark the occasion, Bangladesh Post has issued a 10 taka commemorative postage stamp, a 10 taka first-day cover, a 5 taka opening-day postage stamp and a special postmark.

The initiative aims to highlight that historic moment and preserve the spirit of sovereignty and national solidarity for future generations. The commemorative stamp and first-day cover are expected to play a significant role in preserving important events in the country's history, heritage and national life.
Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Science and Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam, Post and Telecommunications Division Secretary Md Kamruzzaman, and Director General of the Department of Posts Kazi Asadul Islam were present at the unveiling ceremony.
