India revises visa undertaking form to ease application process

The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has simplified the Visa Undertaking Form to make it easier for applicants to complete the documentation required for visa applications.

The revised form was uploaded to the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) website around three weeks ago, the High Commission said in a media release on Friday.

It said the initiative reflects its continued efforts to simplify visa-related procedures and facilitate applicants.

The simplified format enables applicants to understand and complete the form more easily, reducing their dependence on agents for assistance.

The standardised format ensures uniformity in submissions across all visa categories.

The initiative is aimed at making the visa application process more convenient and applicant-friendly.

No new visa eligibility criteria have been introduced as part of this exercise.
