The day-long event will take place at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) premises from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm where 30 to 40 Chinese companies will participate.

According to DUCSU, these companies will offer a total of 430 job positions for students. Interested job seekers will be able to submit their CVs directly to the participating companies.

They will also have the opportunity to communicate directly with company representatives to learn about available job opportunities and the qualifications required.

Organizers said that an initial screening will also be conducted based on the submitted CVs.

Alongside University of Dhaka students, interested students from other universities and educational institutions will also be able to participate. The event will be open to everyone.

In addition to job opportunities, ‘Sino-Bangla Day 2026’ will feature a range of cultural exchange activities between Bangladesh and China. The program will include joint cultural performances by the two countries, lion dances, tai chi, and various other cultural activities.

There will also be a ‘China-Bangladesh Food Zone’, where visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of traditional Chinese and Bangladeshi foods.

As part of the event, the ‘Sino-Bangla Friendship Scholarship & Bursary Award Ceremony’ will also be held. Outstanding students in Chinese-language education will receive special recognition at the ceremony.
