BCB announces itinerary for one-off Afghanistan Test, ODI tri-series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday declared the itinerary for the national team’s upcoming one-off Test against Afghanistan and an ODI tri-series with the Afghans and Zimbabwe set to take place next month.

The one-off Test will begin on October 9 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The tri-series will begin on October 17 with Bangladesh taking on Zimbabwe in the opener at the same venue.

Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will face on the 19th and then the Tigers will take on the Afghans on the 21st in Sharjah.

The final will take place on October 23. 

The Bangladesh contingent will arrive in the UAE in two batches. The first batch will land on October 1, while the remaining players, who are competing at the Asian Games in Japan’s Aichi-Nagoya will arrive on the sixth.

The BCB is yet to announce the squad for either series.
