Salim Khan makes rare appearance at granddaughter’s 1st birthday

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan made a rare public appearance on October 5 as he joined his family to celebrate his granddaughter Sipaara Khan’s first birthday at the Mumbai residence of his son Arbaaz Khan and daughter-in-law Sshura Khan.

Salim was seen arriving at the gathering with his wife, Salma Khan. He was later seen leaving the residence with his son Sohail Khan, who helped him walk towards their car, while Helen accompanied them.

His appearance drew attention as he has largely stayed away from the public eye in recent months. Salim joined several members of the Khan family at the intimate celebration for Sipaara, Arbaaz and Sshura’s daughter, who turned one on Monday.

Salman Khan was also spotted arriving at the celebration. The actor wore a black full-sleeved T-shirt with blue denim jeans and sunglasses and briefly posed for photographers before leaving.

Arpita Khan Sharma attended with her daughter Ayat Sharma, while Arhaan Khan, Arbaaz’s son from his previous marriage to Malaika Arora, and other members of the extended Khan family were also present.

Sipaara is Arbaaz and Sshura’s first child together. The couple married in an intimate nikah ceremony at Arpita’s Mumbai residence on December 24, 2023, and welcomed their daughter on October 5, 2025.

Since her birth, Arbaaz and Sshura have largely kept Sipaara away from the spotlight. They have occasionally shared glimpses of her on social media while keeping her face private.
