Bangladesh, Vietnam outline strategic economic targets

Bangladesh and Vietnam have reviewed major bilateral achievements between the two countries, outlined strategic economic targets, and coordinated on high-level visits and regional cooperation frameworks.

Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Md. Lutfor Rahman paid the farewell call on General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Tô Lâm at his office recently to mark the completion of his tenure in Ha Noi.

The meeting was marked by profound warmth and a shared commitment to elevating the longstanding friendship and multifaceted partnership between Bangladesh and Vietnam.

They reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Bangladesh and Vietnam, with particular emphasis on increasing bilateral trade to US$2 billion, strengthening economic relations and streamlining tourism cooperation, and exploring new areas of partnership.
