NCP’s Asif Mahmud changes voter area to Dhaka North, Patwari to Dhaka South
National Citizen Party (NCP) Spokesperson Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has changed his voter area from Dhaka South City Corporation to Dhaka North City Corporation.
He was previously registered as a voter under the Dhaka South City Corporation area. His voter area has recently been changed to Aftabnagar, which falls under the Dhaka North City Corporation.
Asif made the disclosure on Monday afternoon through his verified Facebook handle.
According to his post, Asif applied to change his voter area using Form-13 prescribed by the Election Commission.
Following the application, the Election Commission reviewed the necessary documents and completed the required verification before approving his request.
As a result, Asif’s voter registration is now under the jurisdiction of Dhaka North City Corporation.
Meanwhile, National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari has also changed his voter area.
He was previously registered as a voter in Uttara under the Dhaka North City Corporation. Recently, he was transferred to the Dhaka-8 parliamentary constituency, which falls under the Dhaka South City Corporation area.
The NCP’s media subcommittee confirmed the matter to Daily Waadaa on Monday.
According to the party, Patwari applied for the transfer using Form-13 prescribed by the Election Commission, following all required legal and administrative procedures.
The Bangladesh Election Commission approved the application after completing the necessary verification and reviewing the relevant official documents, thereby approving the transfer of his voter registration.
