India's 'Cockroach' Party Calls Off New Delhi Protest After Government Accepts Demands

India's Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Saturday announced an end to its youth-led protests in New Delhi, saying the government had accepted all of the movement's demands.

"All our demands have been accepted, so we request the protesters to withdraw immediately and return home peacefully," CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said after a meeting with government ministers.

The announcement came after days of demonstrations led by the group, which had been pressing the government over its demands. Details of the agreement reached with the government were not immediately disclosed.

The CJP said protesters should disperse peacefully following the outcome of the talks.
