The government has decided to keep retail fuel oil prices unchanged for the month of September, allowing consumers to purchase diesel, kerosene, petrol, and octane at existing rates.
According to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on Monday, the existing price structure will remain in effect throughout September.
Under the current pricing setup, diesel will continue to sell at Tk 115 per litre, octane at 145 taka per litre, petrol at 140 taka per litre, and kerosene at 135 taka per litre.
The current rates were originally adjusted via a notification issued on May 31, 2026, and were subsequently maintained through July and August.
The government adjusts domestic fuel prices periodically in alignment with movements in international oil market prices under an automated pricing formula.
