Seasoned journalist Amir Khasru dies

Veteran journalist Amir Khasru breathed his last on Saturday. He was 64.

He died while undergoing treatment for various kidney and liver complications at the Bangladesh Medical University in Dhaka.

Khasru is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

He was a former Bangladesh correspondent for Voice of America and a diplomatic correspondent for the daily Ittefaq.
