Pakistan have replaced almost half their squad and released head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul for the third and final Test against England at Edgbaston, following a 194-run defeat that sealed a 2-0 series loss.

Five uncapped players have been called up, along with Saim Ayub and Abdullah Fazal, who share just 10 caps between them. Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke, head coach and bowling coach of the white-ball setup, have joined the Test coaching staff.

Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Agha, Ali Usman, Aamer Jamal, Awais Zafar and Khurram Shahzad are the seven players released from the squad. The five uncapped players joining ahead of the Test, which starts September 9, are Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Imran Jnr, Saad Baig, Mohammad Imran Randhawa and Razaullah.
